This year I’ve pretty much exclusively been playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands and posting a ton of content for you guys. And I’ve let you know what some of my plans are for YouTube in 2017 and what games I’m looking forward to. The next big game coming out which I’m super pumped for is Assassin’s Creed Origins which we saw unveiled at E3 this year and it looks so good. And if you know anything about me you’ll probably know I bought the Gold Edition of Ghost Recon: Wildlands to get the Season Pass and things, but what about Origins? Well, now the information’s out there, I thought you’d want to see an Assassin’s Creed Origins editions comparison so I’ve put this post together for you to explain what you can get if you’re as psyched as me and want to pre-order the game. 👊🏼

I’m also including some links down below so you can jump straight on Amazon and get those pre-orders locked down so you can receive the game and you’re ready to play on the Assassin’s Creed Origins release date, 27 October 2017.

So let’s take a look at the editions that are available, their prices, and what you’ll get with each one.

Assassin’s Creed Origins Editions

Standard Edition

  • £45 (PC digital) | £50 (PS4/Xbox) | £55 (Xbox digital)
  • $60 (PC digital/PS4 digital/Xbox digital)

The Assassin’s Creed Origins Standard Edition of the game is the cheapest to pre-order and you just get the full game.

ACO Standard/Deluxe Edition

Deluxe Edition

  • £55 (PC digital/Xbox digital)
  • $70 (PC digital/PS4 digital/Xbox digital)

The Assassin’s Creed Origins Deluxe Edition is only available digitally, so you can begin downloading it as soon as it’s available.

This comes with the game, plus the Deluxe Pack:

  • An exclusive mission Ambush at Sea
  • Desert Cobra pack
    • Desert Cobra outfit
    • 2 Weapons: Eye of Apep & Fang Sickle sword
    • Legendary snake shield
    • Fangs horse companion
  • 3 ability points

If you find a retailer selling the physical version of the Deluxe Edition, you’ll also get the world map and the game’s official soundtrack

ACO Standard/Deluxe Edition

Gold Edition

  • £75 (PC digital) | £80 (PS4/Xbox/Xbox digital)
  • $100 (PC digital/PS4 digital/Xbox digital)

The Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition is my favourite and the one I’ve pre-ordered already. This includes the game, the Deluxe Pack (explained above) and the Season Pass.

The Season Pass is important to me for games I know I want to play because it will give you access to all upcoming major expansions, which is cool, but it can also be bought separately.

ACO Gold Edition

Gods Collector’s Edition

  • £95 (PS4/Xbox)
  • $120 (PC digital)

The platform availability of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Gods Collector’s Edition is a bit odd at this stage, but perhaps it’ll be available on more platforms in future.

In case you’re able to get it or would like to buy it, you’ll get the game, the Deluxe Pack, the world map, the official soundtrack, the game’s art book and Bayek’s figurine on the Sekhmet Statue (27 cm).

…and a pretty swanky box!

Why pre-order?

Pre-order to get an additional mission: Secrets of the First Pyramids. Discover the secrets behind the construction of the first Pyramids and what mysteries lay within. Ooooooh!

There are also extra benefits of ordering from Amazon – check to see if their Pre-Order Price Guarantee will ensure you pay the lowest price. And for Prime members, there may be additional discount (I got an extra £2 off my pre-order).

But there’s more

I haven’t included two editions of the game available exclusively from the Ubisoft Store in the table above, because they’re über expensive. But for completeness, here’s what you can get…

The Dawn of the Creed Edition costs from £120/$160 and includes:

  • Full game
  • Deluxe Pack
  • Season Pass
  • The world map (physical only)
  • The game’s official soundtrack (physical only)
  • The game’s art book
  • Bayek’s eagle skull amulet in PVC
  • Two original art cards
  • Steelbook
  • Bayek & Senu figurine (37 cm)
