Back at Beecher’s Hope we have a huge pile of lumber sitting unused. We have the wood. We have the tools (albeit a man – or many men – died in their acquisition)… now we have a house to build!
Uncle (urgh, Uncle!) can’t help. He mas lumbago. But there’s always Charles, and with a nice song we can hammer nails and lift wood all day long. We’re building a mighty home for the Marston family today.
